Crooked Sky Outfitters has guided Wyoming elk hunts out of our Cokeville-area camps for over 40 years. Mule deer, Rocky Mountain elk, and other big game are hunted from our camps, and world-class elk have been taken in our areas year after year.
We’re proud proponents of true fair chase hunting, where elk still rely on their keen senses to survive the chase, uninhibited by fences or artificial boundaries. It’s a purer kind of hunt, and one we’ve built our reputation on for decades.
Our elk hunts are a full guided service that includes accommodations, meals and snacks, and horses for packing in and out of camp, based out of our Poker Creek and Hobble Creek camps. We strive for a one guide to two hunter ratio, with one-on-one guiding available for an additional fee.
Our horseback outfit gets you into elk country that’s hard to reach any other way, packing you and your gear deep into some of Wyoming’s most pristine wilderness.
Whether you prefer archery elk hunting or a traditional rifle season, we guide both, with pricing that stays the same regardless of season. Non-resident archery hunters will need to purchase an additional archery license through the State of Wyoming.

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and a deposit is required to reserve your spot for the year. Groups of 4-5 hunters receive a 4% discount, and groups of 6 or more receive a 6%discount off each hunt.
