Like our summer pack trips, we provide a horseback pack-train for our fishing excursions, taking you from a hurried world to the solitude of hidden lakes, streams, and natural wonders deep in the Bridger National Forest.
Cast your line into Coantag Creek, Lake Alice, Hobble Creek, Smith’s Fork of the Bear River, or Poker Creek. These waters are home to brook trout, brown trout, cutthroat trout, and the rare and prized Bonneville cutthroat trout.
Our fishing excursions run during the summer months, giving anglers a chance to fish some of Wyoming’s best backcountry waters while enjoying the same horseback access and camp comforts as our other summer adventures.

Clients are asked to bring no more than 50 lbs of gear per person, including sleeping bags, and all food is included. Fishing poles and lures are available in camp, though anglers will need to purchase a Wyoming fishing license before arriving. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and a deposit is required to guarantee your spot for the season, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your trip.

We will get you access to some of the best stream and lake fishing the West has to offer. Throw out your line in the Coantag Creek, Lake Alice, Hobble Creek, Smith’s Fork of the Bear River, or Poker Creek. These waters boast lake or stream strains of brook, brown, cutthroat, and even the rare Bonneville cutthroat.

Be Prepared for your trip.
We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage interested parties to promptly fill out the form provided here. Once we receive your form, we will finalize dates for your trip and will require at least a 50% deposit in order to guarantee your spot. We feel this provides equal opportunities for all. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to your trip date.

If purchased with credit card, a 3.0% or applicable fee will be added to the price of the hunt. Personal checks and cashier check are accepted for the deposit for your hunt. However, only cashier checks will be accepted for the remaining balance. Write checks payable to Crooked Sky Outfitters.
We offer a full refund of your deposit on cancellations 90 days prior to your trip. On cancellations occurring between 90 days and 60 days prior to your trip, we offer a 50% refund. On cancellations occurring within 30 days of your scheduled trip, your deposit will be non-refundable.
